Delusion was born from a refusal to accept the ordinary. Founded in 2019 by a collective of photographers who grew tired of safe, sanitised imagery, the studio set out to build a body of work that confronts rather than comforts.
Our work spans editorial portraiture, commercial campaigns, and documentary projects — all united by a single obsession: the pursuit of the image that shouldn't exist, but does.
We work across Southern Africa and beyond, with a roster of clients who understand that the best photographs are never the ones everyone agrees on.
